Active Oxygen - Playing a key role in almost every step of the wound healing process, the active oxygen contained in blue®m products is slowly released in the mouth.
Lactoferrin – An anti-inflammatory protein present in many secretory fluids, including saliva, Lactoferrin has many immune-boosting properties. It also harbours anti-bacterial and anti-viral functions and works against fungi and yeasts.
Xylitol - Present in fruits and vegetables, xylitol is a naturally occurring sweetener obtained from birch trees. It combats the build-up of plaque, reduces bacteria and dryness in the mouth and provides a fresh taste.
Honey – In the mouth, the glucose in honey starts a process called glucose-oxidation which causes the release of active oxygen. This oxygen reduces anaerobic bacteria and stimulates the blood flow of the gum, helping wounds to heal faster.
