Dr. L. Whitney Howerton, MDH, RDH, CDIPC, is a clinician, educator, international speaker, and Senior Manager of Clinical Education & Products at PDT, Inc.
With extensive leadership experience at local, state, and national levels, she has served as a full-time clinical and didactic instructor, teaching courses such as local anaesthesia, head, neck and dental anatomy, special patient care, and advanced instrumentation.
Currently, she is an Adjunct Faculty member in the Dental Hygiene Department at the University of Tennessee and also practises in a general dental setting.
Dr. Howerton has developed comprehensive clinical education programmes for dental manufacturers and healthcare centres, focusing on enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring safe, high-quality care.
