Warning: Scam Targeting Dental Suppliers and Surgeries
We would like to make you aware of a reported case of fraud targeting dental practices.
Recently, we received a call from someone claiming to be a regular customer who placed a high-value order. The following day, the customer’s surgery received a call from someone purporting to be from Swallow Dental Supplies Ltd, stating an order had been sent in error and that a collection had been arranged to retrieve the delivery and a credit would be arranged.
Fortunately, the customer had already made contact with us to report the rogue delivery and we were able to retrieve the goods.
The targeted surgery was in the Hemel Hempstead area, although we would encourage all our customers to remain vigilant.
If you receive an unsolicited order, please contact us directly on 01535 656 312 and ignore any prior calls from anyone claiming to be from Swallow Dental Supplies Ltd.
